I was an official photographer for the XVIII Nationwide Latvian Song and XVII Dance Festival, representing my university, VCU, I documented a significant Latvian cultural landmark of around 40,000 Latvians and Latvian diaspora coming together in this sacred moment to participate and uphold the 150th anniversary of this celebration.

As the song festival went on, the Latvian military stood watch on the outskirts, and alongside them, a group of young adults enjoying a patch of grass
